Last week, Westbourne College Singapore IBDP students had an experiential learning day unlike any other at the British Chamber of Commerce Singapore’s inaugural Sustainability Dialogue.

Held at Pan Pacific Singapore, the Sustainability Dialogue featured a moderated discussion on policy developments in the UK-Singapore Green Economy Framework (GEF), focusing on discussions of its three key pillars. Westbourne students  joined illustrious guests, including keynote speakers His Excellency Nikesh Mehta, British High Commissioner to Singapore and Guest of Honour Alvin Tan, Minister of State for the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth, and the Ministry of Trade and Industry.

“The insights and connections made during this event will undoubtedly shape my understanding of sustainable practices and drive my passion for creating a positive impact,” continued Manan.

Regional Director Gavin Clark, who accompanied students to the event, commented:

The Sustainability Dialogue exposed Singapore students to real-world issues debated by leading experts, a unique experience to gain indepth insight into the world they will eventually step into as STEM & Business leaders of the future.
