Rooted in history, the original Westbourne School UK was established in 1896 during the Victorian era. Today, it proudly welcomes boarding and day students aged 2 to 18 from over forty different nationalities. It has evolved into an internationally renowned co-educational institution of excellence for GCSE/IGCSE and IB Diploma attainment.
Westbourne has a remarkable track record of academic achievements, earning numerous accolades. Since 2015, the school has ranked as sector 1st in the UK League Tables for results over five years. In 2019, it was honored as the IB School of the Year, in 2022, it received recognition as both the Independent School of the Year and a TES finalist for the best use of technology, and in 2023 it won the Global EdTech award for the best School Digital Transformation.
The inaugural launch of Westbourne College in Sydney in 2021 marked the beginning of our global expansion. Over the next six years, we envision Westbourne establishing its presence on six continents.
Westbourne Sydney proudly claimed the top spot in Australia in 2023, with its first cohort achieving the highest proportion of students attaining an impressive 44+ IB Points.
Westbourne College Singapore launched in August 2023, furthering our commitment to providing exceptional education across the globe.
