“How do you know, what you know?”
As one of three core elements in the IB Diploma, students are required to complete studies in Theory of Knowledge (ToK). It stretches their creativity and problem solving so that their skills in critical thinking and analysis are bolstered throughout the two-year IB Diploma journey – only fitting for the world’s future STEM & Business leaders.
As part of this core element, students complete a ToK essay of 1,600 words and separately for a ToK exhibition, they choose 3 objects that are meaningful to them to then apply ToK concepts and present these to a live audience.
Westbourne Sydney students undertake ToK studies with Dr Lusha Kodikara (aka Dr K by students, past and present) and this exhibition is an example on how they have exclusive access to education beyond borders through Westbourne’s global classrooms.
