During a recent tour of the Amazon Fulfilment Centre in Kemps Creek, Westbourne Sydney Year 11 (DP1) students, Audrey and Niamh got the insider’s view on the seamless distribution for this e-commerce giant. Across four stages from inventory through to delivery, they saw how technology can aid a person’s workload in pursuit of prompt delivery for online purchases.
Real industry experiences are just as important at Westbourne as the IBDP lessons within the classroom and we thank Amazon for their invitation to participate in showcasing what will be a truly exciting addition to the STEM industry.
