Bridge to Biomedical Science

To start the week, Year 10 students interacted with patient manikens during their excursion at UTS. Throughout the session, Poker identified key areas of the body and lead the demonstrations. Students were able to conduct pulse rate, blood pressure, and breathing rate measurements for multiple patients and predict whether they were healthy or required intervention. For some students it was a step towards their future career… and equally important, it was an exciting lesson for all!
